#10: Sarah Jessica Parker – 2015 Philip Treacy
SJP rarely misfires—but 2015’s flame-shaped Philip Treacy headpiece torched expectations. While the theme welcomed Chinese-inspired aesthetics, Parker’s fiery crown felt more like a cartoon dragon than a couture homage. She paired it with a black one-shoulder gown and fierce makeup, but nothing could outshine that burning bush of a hat.

It drew accusations of cultural insensitivity and lacked the nuance of a meaningful tribute. SJP, usually a red carpet alchemist, went too literal, too loud. It was meant to make a statement, but the only message received was “yikes.” Sometimes even fashion’s fiercest icons need a fire extinguisher.
