#16: Double Standards
The age-old debate of modesty and clothing choices. Men are quick to preach to women about covering up and dressing modestly, but they don’t always practice what they preach. You’ll see them strolling around without a shirt on, proudly showing off their muscles and abs (or lack thereof) to anyone who cares to look. It’s like telling someone to stop eating junk food while you’re chowing down on a burger and fries.
Maybe it’s time for men to take a closer look at their own clothing choices and lead by example. Or, we can just embrace the irony and enjoy the double standard for what it is – a comical reminder of the quirks of human behavior. After all, if men can walk around without a shirt on, why can’t women wear whatever they want too? What’s your take on this?
