Although actor Ashton Kutcher is involved in different charity causes, what he is most known for is the organization he co-founded with his ex-wife, actress Demi Moore, a little over a decade ago. Known today as Thorn: Digital Defenders of Children, it is an anti-human trafficking non-profit organization, mainly focused on raising awareness to sexual exploitation of children. Kutcher is known for his activism in this field.

As part of his organization, Kutcher worked with programmers to develop a software that helps locate young girls sold for human trafficking. His organization works on developing technological barriers to prevent online child exploitation.
