Marylin Monroe
Born Norma Jeane Baker in Los Angeles, Marylin Monroe had a difficult childhood. She was orphaned at the age of seven and shuttled between foster homes until she was sixteen. Marylin’s first performance was a small role as an extra in the film Ladies of the Chorus, which she followed up with her first leading role in All About Eve.
