#35: US-Bangla Airlines Flight 211 (2018)
Approaching Kathmandu in difficult weather, the Bombardier Dash 8 veered off course during a confused and chaotic landing attempt. The aircraft crashed on the runway, burst into flames, and broke apart. Of the 71 people onboard, 51 were killed in Nepal’s worst aviation accident in recent years.

The investigation found miscommunication between the pilots and air traffic control, as well as cockpit stress and disorientation. The crash highlighted the dangers of flying into mountainous airports with unpredictable weather and raised questions about training and airline oversight in the region.
