Hollywood Stars Who Faded From the Limelight

Phoebe Cates had her season of fame, and then it passed. She shone brightly in the 80s when she starred in Gremlins, but she was not able to make much noise after the 80s. She is especially known for the daring bikini scene from the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High (which you may recognize from the picture below).

Things were not really looking up for the actress as we entered into the early 90s, and we still have not heard so much from Phoebe Cates. It is sad, but it looks like we would not be hearing from her in the industry again. Maybe she has moved on to other avenues and found another calling. However, if she were interested, people are convinced Cates could easily pave her way back to the big screen.
