Oh my gosh, it’s as if this kid has revealed a plot hole in a very important video game. All the kids around the world have been convinced of the existence of this kind of character who gives them presents once a year and can somehow also be found posing in hundreds of malls in hundreds of cities for weeks leading up to Christmas.

And then this cartoon child comes and just blows up the whole notion with the revelation of this simple discrepancy. The cartoon humorously contrasts Santa’s benevolence with the unexpected notion of a photo fee and highlights the quirky and sometimes inexplicable aspects of holiday traditions. I guess that’s the problem with holiday figures designed to make money for toy companies.
