Christmas Cartoons That Remind Us Not to Take the Holiday Season Too Seriously

There’s nothing like a dash of self-deprecating humor, poking fun at the seasonal tradition of wearing quirky sweaters while also poking fun at the wearer. This cartoon highlights the difficulty that many of us have to make conversation at these insufferable events, grasping at straws to try and improve our situation.

Perhaps this cartoon reminds us that laughter is an essential part of celebrating the joyous spirit of Christmas, but I have to wonder if we’re not a little past the man-boobs era… I kind of thought the wondrous mixture of fat-shaming and emasculation was left behind in the early 2000s.
