Between 2003 and 2014, the actress was married to the Chris Martin, lead singer of the popular band Coldplay. The two started dating in 2002, after meeting at the backstage of one of his shows.

They have two children together; daughter Apple, born in 2004, and son Moses, born in 2006. Following the birth of her son, Gwyneth has somewhat put her career on hold in order to embrace motherhood.
