During the Christmas holiday season, it’s always nice to give things to others in need. And what better way to make someone’s day than by giving them a $100 tip for a $28.76 bill. It’s not every day that a waiter receives four times the bill’s amount in tips, and they probably went home with a smile from ear to ear.

That is if they actually received the tip. By the looks of things, this doesn’t appear to be the case. One commenter pointed out that they scrawled the $100 tip on the guest’s copy of the receipt. This is the receipt you receive after everything’s paid for. So, no, this person wasn’t being generous, just a stingy show-off.
