#35: Not the Right Time or Place
If you’ve ever been to a Trader Joe’s in New York, you know the checkout line is a living beast like no other. Some Trader Joe’s stores have lines so long that one person will wait in line while the other one shops just to try and save time! With all this standing around and waiting in line, people are bound to overhear some pretty weird stuff. This guy was probably trying to avoid drawing attention to himself, but he didn’t do very well.
Someone overheard him explaining that he couldn’t explain how to launder money at the moment. Why? Not because he didn’t know- not at all. He couldn’t discuss it over the phone simply because he was in line at the Trader Joe’s. He can’t be letting those money schemes out of the bag while in line to buy his $2.99 organic kombucha! He’s a classy, upstanding individual, after all.
